Dog Walking Service in Calderdale

Hi there,

I'm Dave (DJ) and I was raised in the picturesque countryside of Ribblesdale in Yorkshire, where my family had many pets including three wonderful dogs.

I have recently retired, after dedicating 20 years to a well-known telecommunications company, this has given me lots of (too much!) free time. I was wondering what to do next when a dog owning friend of mine suggested I turn my love of animals and walking into a profession, and several months later here I am!

My family and I are passionate about the outdoors, and we relish the opportunity to explore the hills and moors, no matter what the weather. Currently, we don’t have a dog, but we do have a lovely rabbit called Honey, who isn't too keen on dogs or cats!

I often take out dogs belonging to friends and neighbors. I enjoy the companionship of our four-legged friends during walks, and it provides a helpful service for those who are busy. We also care for our neighbors cats and rabbits when they are away.

I have had many pets over the years including dogs, cats, mice, chickens, ferrets, budgies and fish! I have a deep love for all animals and feel a special connection with them, my wife often teases me for chatting with all the dogs, cats and various farm animals we encounter on our daily hikes!

-Dog Walking & Home Visits-

I am happy to walk dogs of all sizes and ages and are able to give them my full attention as I prefer to only walk dogs on their own (not in groups). I am very happy to collect and return your dog from and to your home or walk them in your locality

I would look to do a free 'meet and greet' when meeting your pets for the first time, so you can let me know your pet's training level, temperament and any special requirements or needs

I will provide regular text and photo updates, so you can be completely happy that your pet is being well looked after.
